Green Team Leaders

Through its environmental and open space improvements, healthy food access programs, youth education, employment initiatives, and many more, GWL creates the building blocks of a healthy community. GWL is currently seeking individuals with experience in youth development to be responsible for the daily management and supervision of our Green Team Summer 2017 program crews. We offer services for job seekers to gain the skills needed to connect with employers including:

  • Career counseling

Bridging the Opportunity Gap (BOG)

The Merrimack Valley Workforce Investment Board is composed of knowledgeable and influential business and community leaders who are appointed by the Mayor of Lawrence on behalf of the fifteen communities that make up the region. Resume Hours

Resume Hours on Tuesday mornings (10am-12pm) at the Lawrence Public Library (main branch at 51 Lawrence Street) that are walk-in, free, one-on-one and bilingual. Great if you need help starting a resume or need to edit a resume.

Career Transition Services

Job Corps is a free education and training program that helps young people learn a career, earn a high school diploma or GED, and find and keep a good job. For eligible young people at least 16 years of age that qualify as low income, Job Corps provides the all-around skills needed to succeed in a career and in life.
