Financial Coaching

Act Lawrence offers a free Financial Coaching program that matches you to a trained financial coach. This 11 week program begins mid-September with monthly workshops and on-demand private coaching through graduation in early-December. Spanish and English workshops will be held at ACT Lawrence at 530 Broadway St. Private coaching will be held at ACT Lawrence or at St. Mary of the Assumption parish, at your convenience.

Our new credit builder program is here to help you improve your credit score in just one year!

For just a small monthly payment for 12 months, Capital Good Fund will report your payments to the 3 main credit bureaus to help raise your credit score.

Day and Employment Services for Adults with Autism and/or Developmental Disabilities

Our Day Habilitation direct-care staff helps adults with autism and intellectual / developmental disabilities develop social, interpersonal and daily living skills. Those who choose to find a job are guided by a career specialist to reach their goal. CLASS helps individuals develop active and meaningful engagement in their communities. Our services are based upon a belief that each individual has the right to realize their full potential. Then it's our job to support that vision to our best ability.

Family & Community Resource Center

We assist families and offer supportive services by providing educational programs, early childhood services, information, referrals, and advocacy for youth and parents. We also have cultural events and other opportunities for families and expecting moms. Serving children from 0-18 years of age. We offer free services for all families in Essex County and we welcome walk-ins.

Since 2000, LCW has been offering an array of Asset Building opportunities to its members, ranging from matched savings for asset ownership and financial education, to homebuyer education, adult basic education, youth development, and leadership development. The Lawrence Financial Stability Center practices a "bundled service" approach to family economic advancement, which fits perfectly with the priorities emerging from the LCW Lawrence Saves initiative. Work Preparation

Lazarus House provides ESOL classes, pre-employment skills training, Culinary Training and Spark*L.E Cleaning as work preparation as well as ongoing mentoring. With this innovative program, these individuals will have the opportunity to increase their employment potential, learn how to effectively retain a good job, and/or expand their advancement potential with their personal employment experiences.
