Minority Introduction to Engineering and Science (MITES)

MITES serves underrepresented and underserved high school juniors who are interested in the STEM field. In this six week program at MIT, students take classes, live on campus, learn from and engage with STEM professionals, and build friendships with other motivated and talented students from across the country. Students also gain access to MIT Admissions counselors who provide advice and guidance on the college application process. We build intentional community to help increase confidence among the students and help them know they are not alone as they pursue a career in STEM
